I am responsible for the management of the Manuscripts Division in the Department of Special Collections & University Archives which takes in an average of 1,600 linear feet of material a year. I direct the accessioning, cataloging and processing of incoming material in any format - from papyrus fragments to artifacts and computer media. I also plan and direct special large processing-digitization projects in collaboration with subject specialists and our digital group on campus.

Recently I was a participant of the AIMS Born-Digital Collections grant awarded by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation – a four-institution collaboration with the University of Virginia, Yale University, and the University of Hull. I was one of several authors of the AIMS Project's White Paper on stewarding born-digital materials and best practices.
