Meghan Fitzgerald is a Media Content Analyst in the Metadata and Media Services group at Turner Broadcasting. She brings her background in library science to the media and entertainment industry, providing enterprise-wide metadata advisory and governance, taxonomy management and content indexing for groups that span operations, technology, broadcast networks and various distribution platforms. She has developed a number of internal standards and metadata schemas for Turner, and has partnered with numerous technology teams to provide guidance for consistency, discoverability and standardization in content and asset management. Meghan earned her master’s in Library Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and joined Turner in 2008.
