There will be a one-day CURATEcamp that will precede this years Personal Digital Archiving 2015 conference at New York University in New York City. We are focusing on born-digital workflows. You can read more about the topic below. The facilitators include Julia Kim, National Digital Stewardship Resident at New York University Libraries, Donald Mennerich, Digital Archivist at New York University,and Peter Chan, Digital Archivist at Stanford University

Logistics

  • WHEN: April 23, 9:30am - 5pm (post event drinks info will be posted soon)
  • WHERE: Brooklyn Historical Society, 128 Pierrepont Street, Brooklyn, NY
  • COST: Free, there is no cost to register for the meeting
  • LOGISTICS: Brooklyn Historical Society is several blocks from both the Court Street N and R subway stop and the Borough Hall 2 and 3 subway stop.

The morning session will consist of short scheduled presentations on born-digital workflows. After a “birds-of-a-feather” lunch break, the afternoon will breakout, [CURATE-style], into two streams to discuss the morning’s talks. Alongside these streams,we will also have pre- planned workshop demonstrations.

We will be providing a light breakfast, coffee, and delicious afternoon snacks and more coffee:
