Andrea Callard is an artist and a filmmaker preoccupied with ideas of landscape and how we live in it. Callard's early films have been preserved continue to find new audiences. Callard is currently collaborating on the formation of the XFR Collective, a group that archives obsolete media and grew out of the 2013 exhibition XFR STN at the New Museum. Callard was an early member of Collaborative Projects, Inc.(COLAB). Her documentation of the Times Square Show is most recently published in Biennials and Beyond- Art Exhibitions that Made Art History 1962-2002, published Phaidon in 2013.
