I am a consultant in Enterprise Information Management based in Melbourne, Australia. I have an extensive background in Digital Preservation including working on the development of the Statistics New Zealand data archives and the New Zealand Digital Archive at Archives New Zealand. I have a strong interest in emulation and am interested in how old software, and in particular software input (open) and output (save-as) format options, can help with file format identification.
