Jeffrey S. Reznick, PhD, is Chief of the History of Medicine Division of the National Library of Medicine and author of two books and numerous articles on the cultural history of war and medicine. He is increasingly interested in the application of digital humanities tools to traditional historical sources, to the end of opening up new lines of inquiry, revealing new historical narratives, and contributing to historiography in the areas of his primary interest, namely the cultural history of modern war and especially World War I.
