Jon is Chief Executive of Preservica, the Digital Preservation specialist subsidiary of Tessella.

Previously Jon was Director of the Tessella Archiving Solutions division which he led from its inception. During this time Tessella's archiving capability has grown from a research project, to a separate business with an impressive line-up of customers including leading pan-national, national, state, local and business archives and libraries across 4 continents. Preservica’s unique Active Preservation technology won a UK Queens’s Award for Enterprise: Innovation.We have now built an energetic team to fully exploit this unique technology.

Jon joined Tessella in 1986, after a degree in Materials Science from Oxford and has worked in many roles within the company including programming, system design, project management, technical management and business development across multiple industry sectors. He completed his Institute of Directors Certificate in Company Direction in 2000.
