Nicole Scalessa specializes in the planning, design, and management of digital resources for non-profits and small business. Her current role as a website designer & IT Manager at the Library Company of Philadelphia, where she has been employed for fifteen years, combined with years of service as a reference librarian and cataloger have made her uniquely aware of the technological needs and hurdles facing cultural organizations in the Philadelphia region. Current projects outside of her LCP duties include the position of Associate Director responsible for digital resources for Historians Against Slavery and website manager for both SHEAR (Society of Historians of the Early Republic) and the Association of Carribbean Historians.
