Rebecca Fraimow graduated with an MA from the Moving Image Archiving and Preservation Program at NYU in 2015, where she wrote her thesis on the preservation of digital remix video. After graduating, she worked as a technician at New Museum's XFR STN exhibit, which opened preservation up to the public in the New Museum's educational department. Currently she preserves dance-related analog video for the Dance Heritage Coalition as the Hub Manager for New York City. She's also a co-founder of XFR Collective, a developing nonprofit inspired by the success of XFR STN that works with local NYC artists and organizations to preserve at-risk media. In September she will join WGBH as the National Digital Stewardship Resident for 2014-2015.
