Abby Adams, Assistant Curator of Digital Collections at Hagley Museum and Library, has over eight years of experience as a professional archivist. During that time, her job duties focused on preserving and providing access to archival materials in digital form, both digital derivatives and born-digital records. Prior to Hagley, Adams worked at the Richard B. Russell Library for Political Research and Studies at the University of Georgia as Access and Electronic Records Archivist. She served on both SAA’s CPR Electronic Records Task Force (2009-2012) and Education Committee (2010-2012). She earned an MA in Public History from Armstrong Atlantic University in Savannah, Georgia and an MLIS from the University of South Carolina. Adams has been a certified archivist since 2007.
